How important is it to have a perception of your own?
I think…
more important than almost anything else.
We often inherit opinions before we ever question them. We trust what we are told because that is how we grow up—through families, cultures, schools, and experiences that quietly shape the way we see the world.
But at some point, we have to begin looking for ourselves.
Not to argue.
Not to convince.
But to understand.
Sometimes our perception changes.
Sometimes it becomes stronger.
Both are signs that we are paying attention.
Perhaps the greatest danger is not being wrong.
It is believing something simply because everyone else does.
